July 24th, 2020
On July 25th, Executive Order 20-81 will go into effect. We encourage all Minnesotans to read this order thoroughly. Paragraph 10, item b, provides an exception for temporary facial covering removal while working out, when the level of exertion makes it uncomfortable to wear a facial covering. There are additional exemptions and special circumstances, which we will respect for all clients.
We will not require facial coverings while working out, or for any of the other noted exceptions. We do require, however, that all previously stated policies are followed.

2. If symptoms are present or temperature is greater than 100.4F, worker must leave the premises immediately. If it is not safe for the individual to leave, they will be isolated in the office until safe transport can arrive.
3. In the event that a worker has potentially been exposed, they are to report the potential exposure to leadership immediately (in writing, via email) and are not to permitted in the facility until either (A) the suspected exposure has tested negative or (B) 14 days have passed (whichever comes first).
4. In the event that a worker is experiencing symptoms or other illness, they must report their condition to leadership in writing via email immediately. They will not be permitted in the facility until either (A) the symptoms have tested negative for COVID-19 and other contagious diseases or (B) worker has been symptom free for 14 days (whichever comes first).
5. As all workers are independent contractors, they understand that they will not receive compensation while out for illness. Workers may apply for unemployment benefits when they are out of work for any reason related to COVID-19.
6. Workers who are considered part of the vulnerable population are highly encouraged to stay home and tele-work as much as possible.
Social distancing – Workers must be at least six feet away from each other
1. If you are able to work from home, you must work from home.
2. Workers must use shared calendar to reserve facility space and note the total number of people who will be present during the session.
3. Trainers must observe shared schedule to ensure that no more than 4 persons are present in the facility at any given time.
4. Workers should not congregate together and must maintain 6 foot social distance at all times.
5. Workers must be strategic in choice of equipment used in order to ensure physical distancing in workplaces.
6. A maximum of 4 persons may be present in the facility at any given time, including not more than two at a time in the women’s locker room, and one at a time in the men’s.
Worker hygiene and source controls
1. Workers and clients must regularly wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer; including immediately upon arrival, and between use of equipment, as well as after touching their face. Hand washing and hand-sanitizer facilities are readily available and stocked in the locker rooms and throughout the facility.
2. Workers are strongly encouraged to wear a non-medical cloth facial covering while on the premises. Gloves are also encouraged, so long as they are clean and remain that way throughout the session. Disinfectant sprays are also available throughout the facility.
3. The posted hand washing and “cover your cough” signs are to remain up until further notice. Do not remove any signage.
4. Workers are strongly encouraged to use source control masks, such as non-medical cloth masks.
5. On-site food preparation and sharing of food is prohibited.
6. Tissues are available throughout the facility for proper cough/sneeze etiquette.

1. After every session, workers must clean and disinfect all areas used, such as offices, restrooms, locker and changing rooms, common areas, shared electronic equipment, machines, weights, bands, etc.
2. After every session, workers must clean and disinfect all high-touch items, such as door knobs, railings, handles, light switches and other surfaces.
3. Personal equipment, tools and phones should not be shared or, if shared, should be disinfected after each use.
4. In the event that a worker or customer becomes ill with COVID-19, the facility will be closed for routine cleaning and disinfecting of the workplace. Leadership will inform workers when it is safe to resume work.
5. The provided sanitizing products have been carefully selected for effectiveness and safety, in accordance with EPA guidelines. No other cleaning products should be used unless they have received written permission.
6. Material safety data sheets are provided for these products; manufacturer specifications must be followed.
7. Workers should take caution when using fans, in order to minimize the air flow blowing across one person to another.
8. Workers are not to tamper with any air management devices.
Additional protections and protocols:
1. Contactless payment should be used whenever possible. If contactless payment is not possible, payment must be made in a manner that allows for at least six feet of distance between the worker and customer.
2. Customers and workers should pre-arrange their appointments for services before traveling to the business.
3. Timing of arrival for services should be communicated through voice, text or email messaging.
4. Customers should be asked to wear cloth face masks.
Additional protections and protocols for facility use
1. Workers and customers must maintain physical distancing of six feet and facility occupancy shall not exceed 4 persons at a given time.
2. Use of locker rooms/restrooms is limited to two people at a time in the woman’s, and one at time in the men’s. Disinfecting wipes are provided in both areas and individuals are asked to wipe off surfaces after use.
3. Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance, as well as throughout the facility. Workers and customers are encouraged to use it as needed during their time on the premises.
4. Contactless payment should be used whenever possible.
5. Workers and customers are encouraged to ensure social distancing via the markers on the floors. Workers should only come closer than 6 feet from customers, if it is required for the customer’s safety.
6. Some stations have been relocated, and are marked accordingly, to allow for better management of traffic flow. Under no circumstances should a worker relocate work stations unless they have received prior written consent from management.
7. Customers are encouraged to wear cloth face coverings.
8. This plan has been posted at https://www.successfitnessandtraining.com/updates/. It has also been shared via email with our customer database, and on our social media pages. Workers are encouraged to further educate customers about the steps being taken for their protection to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 as appropriate.
9. Instructions for customers have been posted at entrances and informing customers: that they should not enter if they are experiencing symptoms; that they are encouraged to wear cloth face-coverings; about the store’s occupancy limits; and that customers are asked to adhere to hygiene and social distancing instructions, signage and markings.

To:
ALL Success Clients,
We
feel like we have been swept into a whirlwind!
Anyone else?
Our
clients’ health & safety is, and has always been, our number one
priority. As we confront this global
health issue of unprecedented magnitude with the spread of COVID-19, we are
taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our
community.
We
have carefully read all of the recent information from the MN Department of
Health regarding COVID-19. At this point
there is no recommendation that we close our doors. We have carefully considered all the
information and have decided, at this point, to remain open with the
understanding that under the following conditions we would close our doors:
- If there is suspected exposure or a confirmed diagnosis of
the virus within our members or team. - If the MN Department of Health, DHS, or Governor recommend we
close. - Because this is such an unprecedented situation, we reserve
the right to close if we feel the safety of our clients, team, and community would
be at risk.
What does this
mean for you?
- As always, we ask that you stay home if you are sick
(regardless of whether or not you feel it is related to COVID-19). - We have always prided ourselves in maintaining a safe, clean,
and controlled environment for our clients.- Our training team is taking additional precautions with more
frequent sanitizing of all equipment and surfaces, both on and off the gym
floor.
- We ask that you support us in these efforts by using the
sanitizing wipes located throughout the gym to wipe down anything you have used,
as well as using our hand sanitizer, hand washing areas, and towels located
throughout the gym.
- Our training team is taking additional precautions with more
- Success Fitness, as always, offers ONLY
supervised-training.- Our ability to know
exactly WHAT has been touched and by WHO is a huge advantage in maintaining a
controlled and clean environment and keeping our doors open… if anyone is
working-out unsupervised then we no longer carry this advantage.
- Please do your part
in supporting our sustainability by NOT STEPPING ONTO THE WEIGHT FLOOR without
your trainer.
- The only exception is
the warm up/cardio equipment, but anything used MUST be cleaned after each use.
- Our ability to know
- BYOM:

we wipe down mats after use, we strongly encourage you to bring your own mat
for stretching and floor work.

everyone. We truly appreciate your consideration and support for our/your gym!
