All challenges will have modification/substitution options.
First Half Challenges:
The rowing event will be timed. Challengers will complete a 1500 meter row for time.
Ooooh the tank! This event will be for time; tracked by how long it takes challengers to complete the designated distance.
WHAT?! Pull Ups?!? YES pull ups! You can do it! Assisted pull ups will be available for some, and we’ll be there to check that your chin gets over the bar!
Squats will be monitored for form and done as bodyweight, goblet OR back squats, depending on fitness level. Performed with progressing weight for sets of 5, until a set of 5 can no longer be completed.
Challengers will complete as many reps as possible (AMRAP) with good form.
Second Half Challenges:
PUSH UPS or BENCH PRESS
Parameters of thic challenge will vary based on your exercise of choice, but is sure to be tons of fun no matter what you choose!
A full burpee includes arms overhead at the top, and torso to the ground at the bottom. Will be graded based on how many a challenger can complete in 1 minute.
HALF MILE STATIONARY BIKE
This one is pretty self explanatory… stationary bike half a mile as fast as you can!!
Carry a loaded hex bar or dumbbells, farmer style, for 400 meters; NO RUNNING!
