Winter Warm Up Challenge Details

All challenges will have modification options and will have weights and methods determined by fitness level.  

Indoor Challenges

STATIONARY ROW

The rowing event will be timed.  Challengers will complete a 1000, 1500, OR 2000 meter row depending on fitness level.

PULL UPS

WHAT?! Pull Ups?!?  YES pull ups!  You can do it!  Assisted pull ups will be available for some, and we’ll be there to check that your chin gets over the bar!

HEX BAR DEAD LIFTS

Challengers will complete as many reps as possible (AMRAP) with good form.  The weight will be determined by fitness level.

SQUATS

Squats will be monitored for form and done as bodyweight, goblet OR back squats, depending on fitness level.  

TANK PUSH

Ooooh the tank!  This event will be for time; tracked by how long it takes challengers to complete two laps down-and-back.

Outdoor Challenges

In the event of inclement weather, outdoor challenges will be moved indoors.  But the weather needs to be REALLY inclement… bundle up!

PUSH UPS

Another simple AMRAP set with modifications available.  Reps will be monitored for full depth.

BURPEES

A full burpee includes arms overhead at the top, and torso to the ground at the bottom.  Will be graded based on how many a challenger can complete in 1 minute.

400 METER DASH (OR WALK OR JOG)

This one is pretty self explanatory… cover 400m on foot (approximately 1/4 mile) as fast as you can.  Challengers will be timed.

FARMER CARRY

Using the same weight as your deadlift, carry a hex bar, farmer style, for the designated distance.
