David Wedlund
Hi, I’m David! I became a personal trainer because I believe fitness is about so much more than lifting weights—it’s the foundation for both physical and mental health.
Strength training has been a cornerstone in my own journey with anxiety and depression, and I know firsthand how much movement can transform not just your body, but your mind and life as well.
Personal Trainer / Business Development Specialist
I earned my BA in Exercise Science with honors from Concordia University and my NASM-CPT certification. I’ve been training since 2020 in just about every setting you can imagine—commercial gyms, studios, group sessions, even traveling to luxury apartments to work with clients in their own homes. Every environment has taught me one thing:
No two fitness journeys are alike, and the best results come from truly knowing my clients and meeting them where they’re at.
My coaching style is approachable, supportive, and yes—sometimes tough-love when you need it. I’m not a drill sergeant, but I will make sure you finish what you came to do. My ideal client is someone ready to commit not just to showing up in the gym, but also to putting in the work outside of it—because that’s where lasting results are made. Whether your goal is strength, weight loss, weight gain, post-rehab training, or just building balance between health and life, I’ll give you the structure, tools, and accountability you need.
When I’m not training, you’ll usually find me spending time with my wife and our Aussie Doodle, Ozzie. We love hiking, cabin weekends with family, swimming, and big bonfires. I also enjoy golf, pickup basketball, cooking, and building projects (carpentry was actually one of my first careers!). Those past experiences—from restaurants to remodeling to equipment repair—have given me a wide variety of skills and perspectives, and they help me connect with people from all walks of life.
At the end of the day, I want my clients to feel cared for, supported, and equipped with the tools they need for long-term success. Fitness is about building a lifestyle that works for you—and I’d love to help you find it.
